The experience we had having Carmen from Collaborative interiors designing our house was beyond words but I’m going to try and do it justice in this review all the same.

From the very start, we found Carmen was open to our ideas, our lifestyle and suggestions. She contributed to the layout of the rooms in the preliminary drawing of plans in a manner that allowed us to have the living area we always desired.

Given that our renovation happened during the middle of the COVID mayhem didn’t make it easy to procure products and Carmen ensured everything we chose arrived and on time.

Every part of our house has been designed tastefully and with us in mind. Furthermore, every room connects to another from a design perspective giving the overall effect of cohesion.

Carmen was always a pleasure to work with, amenable to change of ideas on our part and always available when we panicked over things, with her ready, reassuring presence.

Overall, I can say the the ‘proof of the pudding’ is in the experience we are currently having living in this beautiful home. And we definitely owe that stylish, comfortable conversion of house to home to her input in this project.

Over three months, I have been involved with Carmen and Collaborative Interiors to transform the interior of my house with my early ideas. She and the tradespeople Carmen organised have brought the concepts in my head to life! I am ecstatic at what has been achieved and I couldn't have done it without her!

Carmen delivers on what she promises, while being professional, on time and tactful. At times, I had the inability to visualise and express what I wanted, and her input was invaluable. I am stunned at her expertise and really during our conversations while planning 'the little bits & pieces' I wanted done within my home - just stood there with amazement - at how she grasped immediately my requirements.

I don't think I was an easy client to deal with as I was always changing my mind and asking for more than the initial brief, so credit to Carmen for putting up with me! She was so patient and never got frustrated with me.

You can tell I am a fan of her and of her business - and you will be too. If you're in any doubt, my advice, is to hire her - I KNOW you will be pleased.. like I was. Oh.. and yeah she could charge alot more for what she does, the amount of time and involvement she invests in a client exceeds what she charges.

Wow what an amazing experience! Carmen is brilliant! She has such a calm easy going presence and was really able to understand what we wanted to achieve for our home.

I had design overwhelm with so many pinterest images saved over the years and lots of ideas I didn't know where to start. From the first meeting Carmen listened and took the angst away and made it a fun enjoyable experience, accompanying me to showrooms and helping me narrow down my selections always keeping that end vision / goal of what I wanted my home to look like top of mind, steering me back on track when I strayed thinking I liked something that in hindsight would not have worked.

Carmen has definitely saved us money in the long run as I am positive without her assistance and guidance I would have made costly mistakes - for sure!

I highly recommend Carmen, I know you will love working with her as I did. I mostly loved that she really tailored the design to our family and how we like to live - Amazing!

Carmen from Collaborative Interiors is an absolute legend!

My renovated home looks amazing and it's even better than I'd ever imagined. Carmen took my ideas and built on them. The result is my home has been transformed into a place that is truly quite beautiful, restful, and a gorgeous space to be.

Carmen pays close attention to the big things during the design process, but it's also the little things that can have the greatest impact. Little details like the choice of a mirror for the ensuite or the gorgeous pendant lights in the kitchen.

There is a wow factor when you walk into a room, and everything flows beautifully. The overall result is spectacular and every day, I pinch myself that yes, I live here!

Carmen took the stress out of renovating and she works seamlessly with the quality tradespeople she recommended to work on the project.

Carmen was a delight to work with and the name of her business truly reflects what she is all about. She collaborates with her clients by building on our ideas to create something really special.
